Ireland’s first zero emissions electric truck arrives
Tuesday, September 9th, 2008McNaughton Paper NI Ltd, a subsidiary of the James McNaughton Group have launched a revolutionary high-tech vehicle which is designed for the delivery of graphic and office paper and substrates to its Belfast city based customers – and AV Browne was first on it’s delivery route.
The truck, which produces zero CO2 emissions, will deliver genuine reductions in the environmental impact of their paper deliveries, saving an estimated 4,250 litres of fuel and around 12 tonnes of CO2 exhaust emissions a year, compared to the diesel truck it replaced.
