Student Workshops kick off
Monday, May 11th, 2009Term-time may be coming to an end for most students, but for nearly 40 students participating in the first ever PANI & UU workshops the celebrations will have to wait a few weeks.
The PANI workshops have been set up to give up and coming talent an insight into what life is like working in a creative agency. Six of Northern Ireland’s leading agencies have signed up to help mentor the students through a creative brief set by PANI. Over the next 3-4 weeks the students will be required to come up with an advertising campaign to raise awareness of why wearing a helmet when skiing or snowboarding could save your life. At the beginning of June, the students will have to ‘pitch’ their idea to an independent panel of judges and the winners will be announced later that month. There will be an exhibition of all the work at an award ceremony on the 9th June at UU Belfast.
